Marketing for the Absolute Beginner is a free, foundational course created for authors and small business owners who are new to marketing—or who have tried before and felt lost, frustrated, or unsure where to start.
In this 2-hour course, you’ll learn what marketing actually is (and what it isn’t), how to clearly define who you’re trying to reach, how to choose platforms without panic, and how to create a simple, ethical marketing plan you can realistically follow. The focus is on clarity, consistency, and communication—not trends, tricks, or pressure to “be everywhere.”
Each of the four short modules includes easy-to-understand lessons, visual examples, and a brief quiz to help reinforce what you’ve learned. Upon completion, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion for 2 hours of foundational marketing education through Southern Dragon Publishing.
